The MinimalWindows sliding systems by KELLER, with their reduced profiles capable of dissolving the boundary between inside and outside, have provided the starting point for a reflection on the act of seeing.

The collective Deep Sheet Studiolab (Luca Pulvirenti, Luigi Mignemi, Cristina Santangelo) has developed a compositional path in which the window has become a transitional element and a creative device, capable of redefining the relationship between architecture and perception.

“Looking through the window, light and colour are reflected in the panorama, interpreting it as stratification of knowledge and culture. Gazing through the window, the perceptual experience thus describes the panoptic realm from the individual to the community.
Almost in juxtaposition the screen of the monitor intimately connects us to the world, our personal window on what comes to us. No longer a window into the world, but rather a way to compose and construct the world.
Windows therefore become the supreme instrument of the creative act”
(Luca Pulvirenti, Panographie, 2017).
