In this project, the architect reinterprets the tradition of the courtyard house. Located on the edge of the historic urban fabric that developed after the 1693 earthquake, the building presents a rigorous exterior language, while internally it opens onto a bright central courtyard.

CRS – Studio ACA / Amore Campione Architettura
Catania, 2019
CRS is a newly built residence located on the hills near Catania. The building emerges decisively from the garden and the lava rock behind it, standing apart from the surrounding constructions. Alba Palace Hotel – Architrend Architecture
Favara (AG), 2017
The design intervention poses itself between tradition and innovation, through the preservation of the authentic elements of the building, and the use of modern materials, such as steel plates for the elements protruding onto the façade. A pavillion with ample glass walls, built on the last floor and intended as a suite, guarantees a suggestive view on the main church and the castle.

Villa Boscarino – Architrend Architecture
Ragusa, 2012
“The main theme of the project is thus authenticity; of the old, which through recovery techniques is preserved and given back to history; of the new, which without attacking the existing, with reversible interventions, gives value to it and renders the transformation processes clear and traceable”.
