Research, experimentation and autoproduction are some of the themes on which today many protagonists of contemporary inclination confront themselves.

There does not exist only industry anymore, with its logic and possibilities, its big scale productive dimension and the global dynamics of the big market, but also the local dimension, the artisan work, the limited-number productions.

Presente Artigiano, curated by Lucia Giuliano with Vittorio Venezia and Abadir Academy of Design and Visual Arts, brought a reflection on these dynamics into FUTURA MEMORIA through a selection of objects and the work of designers capable of promoting new processes and visions: Federico Angi, Álvaro Catalán de Ocón, Francesco Faccin and Vittorio Venezia.

Vittorio Venezia has lead instead a group of students from the Academy for Design and Visual Arts Abadir, who have explored the theme of the infinite variations of the vase, delving into the manufacturing of pottery and interpreting in very different ways the theme of process and language.

At Presente Artigiano a multiform variety of their experiments was shown, as a tale of a training path.
